Adventure Information
A couple of hours outside of Los Angeles is the popular Big Bear lake located in the San Bernardino Mountains where WOLF hosts programs at multiple camps in the area. Students arrive by bus to become immersed in the fantastic and diverse mountain ecosystem and make lodging in the chosen camp. Students can enjoy beautiful views, mountain exploration, high ropes courses, snow activities, and of course campfire celebrations. Each camp has comfortable lodging, full-service dining, multiple fireplaces, outdoor amphitheaters, and much more. Students can enjoy a complement of team, science, and primitive living skills activities specific to the area. Big Bear offers the perfect setting to create movie magic! Students can create new, add twists, or recreate their favorite films with classmates. Movies can be presented at the last campfire celebration with even a walk down the red carpet! Students can also participate in the making of some classic shows like Cake Boss with all the materials supplied and set up. Wolf Staff will edit the movies to prepare them for the big screens at the outdoor amphitheater.
