Camp Stevens
lies nestled in pine-oak woodland at an elevation of 4200 feet, near the
historic town of Julian, in the Mountains northeast of San Diego. The
harmony of its natural setting provides a peaceful place apart from
urban life.
Two hundred sixty acres of
forest and meadows offer unhurried serenity, and the comfortable
facilities are designed to encourage and support community-oriented
programs for groups of 10 to 150 persons.

Setting- Set at 4,200 feet above
sea level the camp is set among pine, spruce, cedar and oak trees.
Large rock out croppings and winding trails afford for views of large
meadows and other mountain peaks.
Comments- This camp is excellent for a
variety of science, primitive skills, and teambuilding programs.
Because of the amount of acreage reaching into a variety of natural
settings, it is perfect for most experiential education
programs.
