Big Sur is the fold upon fold of Ventana Wilderness, rare biology,
incredible geology that most people do not ever see.
In the coastal mountain canyons
through the intricate quilt of watersheds, you see this wondrous
country. WOLF staff will guide you through kayaking, river rafting,
ropes courses, caving, rock climbing, and awe inspiring redwood forest
hikes. Educational opportunities abound as we discover uniquely adapted
plants and animals, towering ancient forests, and amazing aquatic
biology.
Monterey bay park
provides in-depth aquatic learning followed up by coastal mammal
research in the university preserves. Whitewater river rafting, sea
kayaking, and river canoeing are all available nearby. Wildlife
sightings are common and the night sky is crystal clear. Kennolyn
Camp is our favorite facility, the only one listed, but we
recommend tent camping to fully explore all that the Big Sur and Santa Cruz has to offer.
