Camp Gilmore

MALIBU CANYON, CALIFORNIA

Camp Setting- Located in Malibu canyon surrounded by chaparral shrubs, oak treeks and sycamores, Gilmore is excellent for many programs options. A beautiful creek runs through the camp.

Guest Capacity- Maximum 180 total beds. Twelve cabins, each with 12 beds, and a dorm with 40 beds.

Camp Amenities- High and low ropes course, in camp rappelling and climbing, swimming pool and 30 minute hike to larger climbs and rappels in Malibu Creek State Park.

Comments- This site is ideal for geology, botany, riparian ecology, and other field science programs. Malibu Creek State Park is a 10-minute hike away and affords outstanding educational features as well as rappelling/rock climbing opportunities. The camp's layout and design allows smooth scheduling for large groups.
