in the secluded hills of Malibu Canyon, Cottontail Ranch provides a
peaceful and relaxing setting for group gatherings. Our facilities and
staff will make your visit a memorable and enjoyable one. We have the
perfect mixture of natural surroundings and modern convenience. Our site
is available for daytime as well as overnite activities throughout the
year. The perfect atmosphere for adults - seminars, workshops, staff
development, management seminars, and overnight retreats, located
minutes away from Malibu's beaches and less than an hour from downtown
Los Angeles. |

Camp Setting- This camp is nestled in
a canyon of the Santa Monica Mountains. Surrounded by chaparral and
large oak tree, the camp is ideal for studying the natural history of
Los Angeles.

Guest Capacity- Maximum 250 beds. Four
cabins with 12 beds each. 7 cabins with 24 beds. The dorm building
has 100 beds.

Camp Amenities- Climbing and
rappelling tower, swimming pool, archery range, and short hike to
Malibu Creek State Park
|

Comments- On site educational
highlights include several variable length loop trails with owl and
hawk nests, unique basalt geological formations, and excellent
wildlife viewing through chaparral and oak woodland life zones.
Malibu Creek State Park allows this camp to be a great site for field
science programs, as well as for rock climbing and swimming. This
site is also just a short drive to Malibu Lagoons, ideal for marine
and estuary programs.
