To truly experience the ways of the
past, each activity uses authentic natural materials; plant
fibers, animal sinew, and deer and elk hides. The program includes an authentic Native American
hunting camp. Participants will have an
opportunity to camp in shelters they have built and eat traditional
meals; venison, elk, quail, & trout. Then using only natural
materials, they set various game traps, build a fire with sticks, and survive by eating the abundance of edible
plants and fruits growing in the wild.

obsidian knapping, teepee set up, sweat lodge ceremony, making beef
jerky, and tomahawk throwing.
